Hamas rejected the outcome of the Doha conference

Hamas, in an official press release, rejected the results of the two-day talks in Doxa that ended on Friday.

The press release said that Netanyahu is an obstacle to an agreement, after he opposed, a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza, the Netzarim Crossing, the Rafah Crossing, and the Philadelphi Road.

“If the enemy does not leave those areas, we cannot accept a ceasefire and we will fight until we liberate our land,” the press release said.

Israel wants a short-term ceasefire and a prisoner exchange, which Hamas has largely rejected.

Israel’s Kann news network reported that Netanyahu informed his cabinet not to wait for a possible cease-fire agreement while Hamas insists that the Israeli army withdraw from the Netzarim and Philadelphi Crossings and that any agreement that does happen will needed to be in the Israeli army.
