The President of Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan, announced today, Friday, August 2, as a day of national mourning for the killing of the head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh.
“In order to show our support for the Palestinian cause and to stand by our Palestinian brothers, a day of national mourning (August 2) has been declared as a day of mourning, due to the death of the Chairman of the Political Bureau of the Hamas Ismail Haniyeh,” he said on the X website.
